This beginner-friendly, two-week course invites you to learn the foundations of crochet in a relaxed, welcoming space. Each session runs for 1.30 - 2 hours, giving you time to build confidence with your hook, practice core stitches, and enjoy the quiet rhythm of creating something soft and tangible. Across the two weeks, a bright, wiggly-armed jellyfish that feels like a tiny ocean daydream. This project is chosen to teach essential techniques in creating future amigurumi projects with single crochet, increase and decrease, adding eyes, and stitching, all while giving you the delight of taking home something fully finished. All materials are provided, from yarn to stuffing to stitch markers. If you already have a favorite crochet hook, feel free to bring it along; otherwise, one will be waiting for you to use. By the end, you’ll know the basic stitches, understand how to read simple patterns, and have a handmade piece to show off — plus a new craft to keep exploring.
