Handmade Adventures (Bi-Weekly)

Service Description

Step into a world where creativity is stitched together one project at a time! This bi-weekly 1½-hour class is perfect for kids who love to create with their hands and discover the joy of making something from scratch. Inspired by the timeless charm of Little House on the Prairie and the creativity of American Girl, each class explores traditional handcrafts with a fun, modern twist. Students will learn skills like beginner sewing, simple embroidery, weaving, crochet, candle and soap making, nature-inspired crafts, paper arts, gardening projects, baking-inspired creations, and seasonal handmade gifts. Along the way, we'll discover how children throughout history created, played, and expressed themselves before screens and gadgets. Every project encourages creativity, patience, problem-solving, and confidence while giving students something beautiful and useful to take home. Whether they're stitching their first bookmark, planting herbs, weaving a tiny basket, or crafting a keepsake for a loved one, every class is an opportunity to slow down, create with purpose, and make memories that will last long after the project is finished. Meets every other week for 1½ hours. All supplies are included unless otherwise noted.
