Fall Homeschool Art Class age 11+

Service Description

Homeschool classes offer children an exciting format for art exploration, experimentation, and fun! It's perfect for homeschooled kids who are looking for a weekly social experience, learn new art techniques and explore creative expression. Your child doesn't have to attend public school to experience all the benefits of art education. Introduce your young artist to a world of creativity with the Homeschool Art Class for ages 5-7 at Lemonade Stand Art Studio. Throughout the 24-25 school year, students will explore the elements of art, principles of design, and famous artists while expressing themselves through a variety of techniques and materials. All supplies are provided, making this class a perfect weekly opportunity for young artists to explore and create. Classes will be every Monday (with a few exceptions of holidays) at 1:00 pm. We will meet for an hour. You have the choice to drop your child off or you can hang out while we art. I will have coffee and Wi-Fi ready for you if you choose to hang with us. Class information and instructions , as well as some at home activities, will also be posted online weekly incase you miss the weeks in person class. Fees are $50 month or $150 for semester Families with multiple kids in classes will get 20% off ($120 semester ea) Some of the lessons we will cover... Elements of Art (line, shape, color, space, texture, form, and value) Principles of Design (pattern, movement, proportion, balance, unity, emphasis) Famous Artist Studies Emotion and Self Expression Different techniques and medias We will be reading several children's art books to go along with our lessons too! BONUS**** to the kids who are enrolled in the weekly classes, any additional workshops that you wish to join will be 20% off!
