Service Description
Cardboard Arcade Lab Ages 12–18 | Build. Play. Hack the Fun. Turn everyday cardboard into a fully playable arcade game in this hands-on creative engineering class! Teens will design and build their own arcade-style game using cardboard, simple mechanisms, and imagination-powered problem solving. Students can choose to create games like pinball, skee-ball, marble mazes, claw-style challenges, or invent something totally new. Along the way, they’ll explore basic physics, design thinking, and prototyping while learning how real arcade games work behind the scenes. 🎮 What students will do: Design an original arcade game concept Build moving parts using cardboard and simple tools Experiment with ramps, levers, spinners, and scoring systems Test, tweak, and improve their game through play 🧠 Skills they’ll build: Creative problem-solving Engineering basics and mechanics Spatial thinking and design Collaboration and iteration 📦 Materials included: Cardboard, craft materials, fasteners, tools, and decorative supplies (Students may bring small recycled items to personalize their builds) No screens. No kits. Just cardboard, curiosity, and the joy of making something that actually works.
